Effortless Easter Menu 🐰
Dear Friends,
As Easter approaches, I give thanks for the hope of the resurrection, for new life. How fitting that Easter comes in the Spring when new life is bursting forth all around us. As I give thanks, I also pray for those suffering close by and far away. My gratitude and joy are always a bit tempered in knowing others are hurting. I hope we all can find ways to reflect God’s love and compassion.
As you’ve heard me say many times, hospitality is one of the beautiful ways we love each other. When we open our homes, we open our hearts.
As Easter approaches, many of you are planning your menus for this special occasion. I give you my favorite that you’ve seen featured in The Dish before. As the saying goes, “If it’s not broken, don’t fix it!”
Easter is a time for making the occasion special in whatever way suits your style. Perhaps you want to pull out the fine china, sliver and crystal or maybe you want to be more casual. With a little advance planning and preparation, adding a little flare, whimsy, and fun need not add stress!
Remember Step #9 in Effortless Entertaining … Plan Your Work and Work Your Plan. By the time your guests arrive for Easter lunch, you will be enjoying a Mimosa as you welcome them for this festive and happy time!
I pray blessings for your family and friends. May the life-giving and love-giving miracle of Easter be with you each and every day, and may you find the golden egg!
